Episode 1 The Ultimate Tofu Store Drift As Tak Fujiwara helps deliver tofu for his dad over the years, he unconsciously acquires racing skills. At the same time, the #2 driver of the Red Suns racing team, K.T. Takahashi, accidentally meets Tak and challenges him to a racing battle. Episode 2 Revenge! The Rumbling Turbo Team Speed Stars accepts the Red Suns' challenge and the ace of the Speed Stars, Cole, struggles to find the Eight Six that defeated K.T. Takahashi to become a legend of Akina. Episode 3 The Downhill Specialist Appears Cole learns about Tak's father, Bunta, and how he's the fastest driver on Mount Akina. Cole injures himself in a car accident, so he asks Bunta to drive for his team against the Red Suns but ... Episode 4 Into the Battle! On the day of Akina Speed Stars' battle with the Akagi Red Suns, Cole waits for Bunta to appear to drive for his team against the Red Suns, but Tak shows up, reluctantly, in his place. Everybody is in a state of shock, but Tak shows his super technique that blows everyone away. Episode 5 Dogfight! Because Tak is so well-trained on Mt. Akina, he keeps the pressure on K.T. and ultimately defeats him with a racing technique that only a driver who has truly mastered the tricks of the mountain would know. Tak experiences the true joy of racing for the first time, and even enjoys a leisurely drive with Natalie afterwards, as well. Episode 6 A New Challenger From out of nowhere comes a menacing GT-R, driven by the Night Kids leader, Zach. Meanwhile, Tak takes Cole for a 'simple drive,' but Cole passes out in awe of Tak's incredible technique. Episode 7 Pride of a Racer A new foe appears: Zach from the Night Kids challenges Tak to a battle, but Tak still really isn't into competition. Tak gets some encouragement from his boss and then finally decides to meet Zach's challenge on the road. Episode 8 Time's Almost Up! Iggy frets when Tak doesn't show up for the showdown with Zach - since Iggy basically committed Tak to the race on his own. Finally, Bunta finally gets back home with the Eight Six and Tak barely makes it to the race on time. Episode 9 Eight Six vs. GT-R At the outset of the big race, the GT-R takes the lead due to its technical superiority ... but the Eight Six that Bunta tuned somehow manages to stay in the race. And, as the GT-R loses front tire grip, the Eight Six begins to catch up to the GT-R ... Episode 10 5-Point Hairpin On the 5-Point hairpin turns where Tak previously beat K.T., Tak and his Eight-Six manage to take the lead and Zach spins out of control.
